Identification Card... always carry your Teamsters Union
Identification card.

Monthly Union dues are due on the first day of each month.
However, you will not be charged a late fee until the following
month.

Dues Receipts are to be carried at all times. Your steward or
business agent may request to see it.

Dues Check-Off applies only to some companies. Not all employers
participate in dues check-off. Check to see if your employer is a
participant.

Dues Payment by Mail is acceptable. Your Payment must be received
in our office by the last business day of each month. POSTMARK
DATES DO NOT APPLY.

Change of Address and / or Employment... it is important for you
to keep the Union informed as to your current address. Without
your current address you may miss out on some important issues.

Death Benefit... dues must be paid on or before the last working
day of the current month to be eligible for the Local Union Death
Benefit. This benefit is payable to the beneficiary of your own
choosing provided you are abiding by the rules and regulations of
the Union. Do not let your beneficiary suffer the loss of this
benefit due to the negligence of not paying your dues on time.

Suspension... should a member neglect to pay his dues from a
period of three months, he shall stand suspended for the Union and
re-initiation fee will be required before he can again become a
member in good standing. IT IS YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO SEE
THAT YOUR DUES ARE PAID.

Refunds / Withdrawal Cards... CONTACT YOUR LOCAL UNION
IMMEDIATELY UPON JOB TERMINATION! When terminating your
membership at Local 572 be sure to obtain honorable withdrawal
card, you will stand suspended after three months of nonpayment.
However, you are still responsible for your dues until a
withdrawal card is obtained.

Calendar of Events. You are the Union. Be active in your
future.

Register and Vote... be an active part of your government, be sure
to vote and keep your representatives aware of your feelings on
important issues affecting labor.
