Dear Costco Members,
We are pleased to announce that Costco has agreed to the pay the additional compensation noted below.
- All hourly employees will receive an additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked during the five weeks leading up to April 5, 2020. This additional compensation will be paid in a lump sum in your April 17 paycheck.
- All full-time, part-time and limited part-time hourly employees working in the warehouses, business centers, depots and manufacturing facilities will receive an additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked during the four weeks of April 6 through May 3, 2020. This additional compensation will be paid in a lump sum in your May 15 paycheck.
This includes all non-exempt employees in the warehouses, Business Centers, depots and manufacturing facilities, including seasonal, salaried non-exempt managers, and temporary managers paid at an off-scale rate.
Regarding the ATTENDANCE POLICY VOTE:
Your attendance ballots were picked up this Tuesday, April 7th, in the morning from the post office at 10AM. Stewards from #401 and #460 sorted the ballots by Local Union and then sealed the boxes to be counted at a later date (proposed 30 days). No other ballots will be accepted.
