Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy (LAANE) hosted their annual “Women For New Los Angeles” luncheon on May 9th, 2025. At this year’s event, Teamsters Local 572 Secretary-Treasurer Lourdes Garcia was honored for her lifelong contributions to the struggle for workers’ rights and dignity.
