Youth Helpers “UnPlugged” summer camp at Laurel Pines allows children the opportunity to “UnPlug” from their electronics and experience the beauty of nature.

Children go on a week-long adventure filled with games, great homemade food, fellowship, education and personal growth. They are empowered by building self-confidence, developing relationships with others, encouraging leadership and independence, while having fun in a new and exciting experience. They are encouraged to discover who they were created to be and what that means.

Application Process:

To select our campers – we ask each interested child to write one paragraph and tell us what it means to have a Teamster for a parent/guardian.

Submit paragraphs to Local 572 President Adriana Salazar Avila at: asalazar@teamsters572.org by June 21st. Selections will be made by July 5th.
